Initiatives

Practical help, household by household

The work is deliberately unglamorous: staple food, school support and steady presence in the local government areas of Zamfara State.

Orphan & widow relief

Direct household food distribution, organised with ward leaders and community committees so that packages reach the families most in need.

Seasonal food support

Distribution concentrated around Ramadan and Sallah, when household food costs spike and vulnerable families are stretched thinnest.

Student encouragement

Backing for indigent, orphaned and vulnerable students, following the scholarship tradition established across Zamfara and the North-West.

Community cohesion

Support given across political and social lines, an explicit principle of the Tsafe distribution.

The distribution was flagged off at the party office in Tsafe before stakeholders and community leaders, and reached orphans and less-privileged households across the local government area.

The wider family effort

Scholarships across the North-West

Senator Abdul’aziz Yari’s scholarship scheme has covered students across tertiary institutions in North-West Nigeria, including a N216 million programme for 2,055 indigent, orphaned and vulnerable students from Zamfara. Ahmad’s own relief work sits alongside that longer-running education effort.
